A compilation of early recordings.
The Pearl Necklaces: We recorded in Katie's barn, with the cows and the horses and my fostex four track and no outside mitigators, like engineers. After recording our 7 song debut, Katie left town, thus ending the experience. I didn't know what to do with the recording and I was very distressed. Would no other person attest to hearing 'Let's Bust Jimmy Out of the Cult'? The universe seemed so lonely. Fate seemed so unkind. Now I can finally take those tapes and wring them out digitally to promote my favorite recording I've ever been on (though I understand that will not be a universal opinion).

The Mussells were pre- and over-lapping the PN's. Unfortunately, the only recording I have was of a rehearsal we had without our singer. There are other Mussells recordings out there. Bearers come forth.

The rest of the recordings are ones I did myself, after the bars closed, in the one-bedroom apartment I had above a bike shop. It will thus come as no shocking revelation that these are sloppy and pretty weird. Oddly,
I only recorded four-track stuff during the one year of my life, and then stopped.
